<%= sMetaString %>Saturday, April 1
In a blur of amazing springtime energy, your loyal crew this week levelled the clay, taped down the lines, stretched screens from pole to pole, and put up all the nets.
We installed the new speed gun under the deck behind court one, with a two-foot tall IBM readout up over the clubhouse door.
Next to the speed gun is the 30-to-1 zoom video camera connected to the laptop on Billy's desk that sends streaming video of court action to ESPN Extreme Sports. Billy helped his former AT&T colleagues run the fiber-optic link to the clubhouse.
The Goodyear blimp will be up and down the Charles River all weekend providing aerial views of the courts.
At the last minute Johnny Mac accepted the Club's final offer and will be our new Assistant Pro backing up Rick.

Michelle Pfeiffer's press agent announced that "the one" will play singles at the club against McEnroe before collecting her Woman of the Year award from the Hasty Pudding Club in the square.
