Sunday, April 30
There's no tennis at the Cambridge Tennis Club, but there's a lot of action: there was a rental last night, a wedding party.
Our own Allison Rowell was in attendance.
And today we are hosting the New Members' Party from 5:00 to 7:00. The New Members' Party is always fun, but this year it should be a corker: Bob Doyle's computer pyro-technics will be premiered.
A Note from Susan Miller-Havens:
The New Members Party is today. It is for new members, their sponsors, the board and general membership. It is not to introduce prospective members! Anyone who wants to introduce prospective members please contact Susan Mead, membership committee.
Court conditions:
April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Ya, Tom, it was tough on our tennis courts, too. We'll try to open them on Tuesday. In May.
Joe DeBassio, Webmaster.
