The Women's Team played yesterday, against the Wellesley Country Club.
Our reporter, Ann Wyman, tells us that the women from Wellesley had such an excruciatingly fine time that they did not want to leave Cambridge. Billy reported that they were very jealous of our Court One video camera. The Wellesley Women, we're talking about.
Our first team won handily (go Sally Fowler, go Juliet Godson). Two other matches went to three sets. Enough said.
Billy and the crew are tearing down the old backboard, resolutely. We will soon have a shiny new backboard.
