Women's Team: Our women's team played against the women from the Needham Pool and Racquet Club yesterday. In Needham. Near a dump. Our reporters, Cynthia Ellis and Ann Wyman, reported that the rival team had nice courts. The two teams fought it out in wind and rain and did we say wind? Paula Cortes and Esther Williams, our first team, played an epic match, long points, long games, but lost 3-6, 7-5,-7-5. Ouch. Ruth Morss and Mary Hill won easily, 6-0, and 6-1. Ann and Cynthia won their match, 6-4, 6-0. Judy King and Woody Tucker lost, 6-4, 6-3. We are eager to get our dauntless team back on their home courts, back here in Cambridge. We'll meet them at the airport with the CTC marching band.

Reservations: Looks like club members are being reserved about trying to request reservations on the website. So far, people seem to like to see the schedule on-line, but are reluctant to fly the pilot reservation system. The clicking is not so frightening. What the heck, click around in the site for a bit. (Click on Members in the Table of Contents, plug in your password, go to Welcome, to Resources, and then request a-way. We all like to click, right?)

Passwords: Speaking of passwords: some of us have too many. Any hints on organizing or consolidating them? A Password Folder? A Password Program? A shopping bag? Bob Doyle, are you out there?

Court conditions: Rained out, one more time.
