Tennis Club News Page

Monday, October 2

Are we busy? The courts are off and on busy and empty. Sometimes we're packed, sometimes empty. You can see for yourself if you take a look at the days in question - Today's Reservation Requests, and tomorrow's (which pages are not entirely up to date). Sources report that Longwood is busy on the weekends, but only on the weekends. Other sources report that tennis at the Braeburn Country Club is done for the season. The clay courts there are still open and in great shape, but no one is playing, even on the weekends. (They play golf instead.) The head pro at Braeburn has gone off, mostly, to his winter club. And the assistant pro just checks in. He's here at the CTC, playing with our pro.

Doesn't it seem that these days are too beautiful to pass up? that even if you didn't play tennis, you'd want to on days like these?

Longwood: Some of our members are also members of the Longwood Cricket Club. They told us that Longwood has a website, so we took a look. If you want to compare and contrast websites, click on Longwood.

Court Conditions: Ideal. Other courts aspire to be so good.
