Columbus Day Potluck/Pick-up Doubles/Barbecue/Bonanza: The weather report we heard is that rain will fall, off and on, all day. Oh woe. The party is planned for today. Call the club for an update. The Columbus Day party is an all-day pick-up doubles tennis and feasting extravaganza. The club will supply barbecue basics: hot dogs and burgers and drinks of various sorts. There is also a potluck feature. Suggestions for what to bring:
If your last name begins with a letter from A through G, you might bring some dessert;
if H through O, some salad;
if P through Z, some fruit.
Court Conditions: Fine. If it rains, though, as predicted, please call the club for current court conditions.
