Tennis Club News

June 2, 2001

There is some heavy duty tennis being played right now over there in France. The red clay, to our eyes anyway, seems a bit, a oui bit, dirty. Or rather, messy, n'est-ce pas? But, if you've missed some of the action, here's a link to the official French Open Website.

There is some heavy duty tennis about to be played here at the CTC. The tournament sign-up sheets are still posted on the porch bulletin board.

INTER-CLUB PRO-AM (unofficial):
One of the top pros from the Braeburn Country Club, along with one of the best players from Braeburn, played our pro and our manager the other day. The Braeburn duo won in three.

Reservations Note: While the CTC website has the capacity to handle on-line reservations, the efficacy of deploying the system is still being debated by the tennis club Board. So, if you click on Reservation Requests, you can see the system, but it is not active. Stay posted.

Take a look at what was going on at the club at this time last year.

The Yearbook link will take you to the last newspage from 2000. From there you can see the whole of the Persistent Archive of last year's news.

Court Conditions: Better than all our local rivals except the two best courts at Braeburn.

Website Note: The time and temperature icon below is a link to a Boston weather site.

Website Note II: The honey-comb icon is also a link. It takes the clicker to an archive of all the past news pages so that you can read the news pages for the whole year. The less-than link (<) next to the honeycomb icon will take you to yesterday's News.
