Folks,
Where is the club television? I wanted to watch the French Open and thought that watching it with other players would be fun, but alas...
Dear Deprived, The television didn't belong to the club. The television was a loaner from a member. We recommend an apres tennis party at your house featuring your large-screen tv and a playful pinot grigio. |
Folks,
Where is the bike rack? Dear Biker, Where are the snows of yesteryear? The bike rack is buried under the detritus of changing seasons. We may need back-hoes and loading equipment to dig it out. But dig it out we will. Soon. |
Folks,
I seem to remember that the website newspage was livelier. I remember pictures of members frolicking on the porch and on the courts. My picture was taken and I was promised that it would appear on the site, along with a little witty commentary that I supplied. What gives?
Dear Wit, The answer, my friend, is blowing in the..., or pending. |
Reservations Note: While the CTC website has the capacity to handle on-line reservations, the efficacy of deploying the system is still being debated by the tennis club Board. So, if you click on Reservation Requests, you can see the system, but it is not active. Stay posted.
Take a look at what was going on at the club at this time last year.
The Yearbook link will take you to the last newspage from 2000. From there you can see the whole of the Persiste porrchive of last year's news.
Court Conditions: Most people agree that our courts are the best around. But not all. Some people don't know the difference. But many do.
Website Note: The time and temperature icon below is a link to a Boston weather site.
