Clay today, courts tomorrow ?

Hallelujah! the clay has come. Let us start working on the courts. Let us.

The clay is stacked on 11 pallets, 35 eighty-pound bags to a pallet, along the back of courts 3 and 4. It is shrink-wrapped. From the clubhouse porch you can see across the field of muck (the courts!) to the glistening pallets of clay. Oh hope!

We need a volunteer with a digital camera to come to the club and take a few pictures. (The scanner at the newsroom is down.)

We also need writers, readers, essayists, columnists, proofreaders, lay-out artists, graphic designers, woofers, and tweeters. Anonymity, as always, is assured. If you can help, please drop us an e.

Here's a link to the espn site, with pro rankings.

Reservations Note: A head-scratcher, no?

The Yearbook link will take you to the last newspage from 2001. From there you can see the whole of the Persistent Archive of last year's news.

Website Note: The time and temperature icon below is a link to a Boston weather site.

Website Note II: The honey-comb icon is also a link. It takes the clicker to an archive of all the past news pages so that you can read the news pages for the whole year (2001). The less-than link (<) next to the honeycomb icon will take you to the last issue of the news.
