The back 3 courts are declared open. The nets and curtains are up, the clay is hard: the courts are open.
The front courts still need tapes, curtains, and nets. The front courts have a way to go.
The front of the club, the stairs, paths, walkways are cleared and are no longer the danger zone, so that you can walk out to the back courts without falling into holes or stumbling over piles of dirt or lumber.
The clubhouse? Well...the clubhouse still needs some tidying. And the shower-rooms? Filled with scrap lumber, tools, lost-and-found, coolers, ping-pong tables, ball-hoppers, lawn furniture, painting supplies, left-from-last-season suntan lotion, sneakers, dead balls, etc. The shower rooms also need some tidying.
The courts, though, are OPEN.
And reservations? The staff is going to wait a bit on taking reservations, wait to see when we'll have all the courts open and wait to see when a staff member can be spared (see above to sit at the desk and answer the phone.

Website Note II: The honey-comb icon is also a link. It takes the clicker to an archive of all the past news pages so that you can read the news pages for the whole year (2001). The less-than link (<) next to the honeycomb icon will take you to the last issue of the newspage.
