Let's let the pictures do the talking:
The crew started working on the courts on Monday, April 11. Opening day is usually 3-4 weeks from the start date, so we are hoping that we'll have some courts open by, maybe, the first weekend in May. Depending on the weather. Depending on the weather.
A Note on Membership: Right now, the Membership Committee is in the process of finalizing this year's membership. People on the list are being invited to join. After folks have been accepted, we will update the waiting list (which can be found through the FAQ section of the website) and the new members list. This year, there are close to 40 spaces open, so you can count down on the waiting list to see who will be, or has been, invited to join. Remember to count two spaces for a family.
A Note on Activities: The club book has not yet gone to press, but the Activities section, i.e., dates for round robins, tournaments, and so on is up to date and available on the website.
Take a look
We'll keep the tournament draws available on-line (including all of the results), thanks to the Java Kid:
And the previous tournaments:

And here's the saga of 2002's tournaments (so's we can compare and contrast):
And the saga of the year before (we're mighty fancy here, and mighty grateful to the Java Kid for doing all this work):
Phew.
Here's a link to the espn site, with pro ranking.
And a club member (let's call him Sol) suggests a link to the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I. The site is rich.
The CTC book for 2005 is not yet available. The Activities page has been posted here on the website. The waiting list for membership is complete, but still includes folks accepted for membership this year until membership is finalized. That information can be found through the 'FAQ' page.
'Members', and' Reservation Requests' are not active parts of the site nowadays. 'Timelines' is for adepts.
The Yearbook link will take you to the last newspage from 2004. From there you can see the whole of the Persistant Archive of last year's news.
Website Note: The time and temperature icon below is a link to a Boston weather site.

Website Note II: The honey-comb icon is also a link. It takes the clicker to an archive of all the past news pages so that you can read the news pages for the whole year (2004). The less-than link (<) next to the honeycomb icon will take you to the last issue of the newspage.
